Additional Life360 benefits
Build a Circle
Circles are like private groups. Stay connected with your family in one Circle, your friends in another, and your dog walkers in a third.
See Location History
Get an ongoing timeline of your Circle’s comings and goings, organized by day. Easily review past trips including who went which way and when.
Set Place Alerts
See when your Circle gets home from school, leaves work, or stops by the grocery store without asking by setting Place Alerts at your spots.
Low Battery Alerts
Know who’s about to lose power with Low Battery Alerts.
SOS Alerts
Ask for help without saying a word. If you ever feel unsafe or are in an emergency, SOS sends a silent help alert with your location to your Circle and emergency contacts.

Life360 FAQs
Life360 has a lower battery drain than other locator apps on the market. We have an advanced algorithm that helps us decide when to wake up your phone and update your location—so we never just leave your GPS on. That said, every app that uses location will use some extra battery.
Yes – but keep in mind the missing phone must have Life360 installed and logged in for us to find it. IMPORTANT: Do not log in to your account on another mobile device or the app will only locate the device you logged in to. To locate a lost or stolen phone, ask another person in your Circle to open the Life360 app on their phone to update the lost phone’s location. If the app is not logged in, or if the phone is turned off, or if the battery has died, the location will not update. Life360 cannot lock or factory reset a device that has been lost or stolen.
No, Life360 is an opt-in app. For someone to find your location using Life360, you will need to give us your explicit permission by: Installing the Life360 app, Creating and logging into your account, and Accepting an invitation to join a Circle. As soon as you log out of Life360 or turn off location permissions, your location will no longer update.
