Capcom has announced that Map Pack 3 (Lost Technology, Ruins, and Ice Drop) that was originally priced at 400 Microsoft Points will be available as a free download starting August 16th. This means that as of August 16th all multiplayer map packs available for Lost Planet will be available free of charge. (Map packs 1 and 2 are currently free)

Capcom also announced that in the coming weeks they will be releasing a patch to improve connectivity for online play.
