In a Recent Interview with Bloomberg, Shane Kim, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Game Studios said that they were working on getting the 360 a price cut.

“We need to compete effectively for that customer and part of that is getting to the mass market price point for the console,” said Kim. “We definitely are working on that area.”

So if you want to by a 360 soon, you might want to hold off a little bit, a 100$ price cut right before Halo 3 would most likely drive sales through the roof. But for right now we have no idea when it’s coming. We’ll update when more news on this comes out.
