According to The Hollywood Reporter, Microsoft will be dropping the pirce of the 360 by 50 dollars in the coming weeks. Retail sources said that in fact, there will be a 50 dollar price cut coming August 8th. Just a while back, retail sources said the PS3 would be getting a 100 dollar price cut and that happened, so expect to see the 360 50 bucks cheaper the 8th. However, it’s not certain if the price cut will effect all SKU’s or if it will just be on one like the Elite. A $250 Core, $350 Premium, and a $420 Elite combined with Halo 3 and all the other blockbusters coming out this holiday would drive sales through the roof, so it makes perfect sense.
