MGS’4 has been delayed….Bad news for pS3 owners…Good news for 360 peeps. There is a lot of speculation that Konami has pushed the game into 2nd quarter 2008 so that the 360 version and the ps3 version will launch at the same time. Here is the official word:
“Konami has decided to delay the title’s release in order to make further improvements to the quality of the game and provide even greater enjoyment for more customers worldwide. Konami will continue its efforts to make Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots meet everyone’s expectations.”
Also: “further information regarding the release date will be announced as soon as possible.”
Here are my official words:
“Konami doesn’t think the Ps3 has a large enough install base in the U.S. and wants to make a lot of money by selling it on the 360 (The console of choice in the U.S.) also..I don’t blame them!!”

I wouldnt put it past the execs at Konami. They want $$$ the PS3 just doesnt have the users……bring it to the 360 and watch the cash roll in.

I was planning on buying a PS3 for chrizzimass and then selling it once I completed MGS. But this could save me a hell ova lot of money XD…

Get over it and just play games however you want. Konami hasn’t announced this game for 360 and has clearly stated its exclusivity many times.

I personally don’t believe this rumor. Sure Konami has it’s business in mind but they also owe a great deal to Sony for supporting them. If anything, I would say that A: Collecter’s Edition for PS3 and regular only for 360 or B: Delayed release for 360/ No release at all.
